Sheffield Academy of Young Leaders

With 8 further Major Events confirmed for the Sheffield Academy of Young Leaders to 'sink their teeth into'... the summer months look bright for everyone involved.

The Sheffield Half Marathon, World Goalball Championships, National Junior Basketball Championships, British Triathlon and three Great Britain Volleyball Euro Cup events are in need of volunteers... not to mention links to GB wrestling, GB Ice Skating and British cycling in the pipeline.

School Futsal competitions run next week at Goodwin sports centre 15:00-17:00 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, where attendee's to the FA Futsal course can use the skills learned to referee matches.

Hallamshire Harriers AC and Sheffield disability basketball and trampolining clubs are also home to SAYLs Young Leaders who are volunteering their time on a weekly basis, leading and coaching others in the community.
